Modern Gem in East Hampton Village

| While some of the finishes in the basement don't really live up to the standards of the rest of the house (they seem to have run out of gas at the finish line), this house is remarkable and not just from the stark contrast from it's neighbors. If you are bullish about the longterm prospects of East Hampton's most ordinary neighborhoods, then this may be a reasonable investment. But at $3.4 million (not including the custom-made furniture), this house is a bit risky. Regardless, it would be an amazing place to live and a must see. I think someone will buy it at some price that will make the builders happy that they blazed this trail. Listed with Elisabeth Mills at Corcoran | |
