The lazy, pastoral beauty of Parsonage Lane, running between Sagg Main and Town Line roads, masks the current frenzy of real estate speculation occurring there. It's the 3rd cross street up from the beach. We'll start our tour from Ocean Rd. and head east. Let's get to the action...More after the jump:

This .53 acre property has what looks like a couple of cottages and overlooks acres of farmland. The Michael Davis sign led me to the Michael Davis website, where I saw plans for a 4,500 shingled traditional with gunite pool and all the fixins. His houses are beautiful, but it's too bad that this property won't remain as is. Upon further investigation, i learned that Michael does indeed own the property and that it had been on the market for almost $ 3million, reduced to $2.5m in '05. I's guess no less than $5million with his new plans.

310 Parsonage Lane
I am told that this house at 310 Parsonage sits on 4 acres and is for sale for in excess of $20 million. but i can't seem to find a listing. The walls must be made of gold.

this approx. 2000 sq. ft. contemporary on 1+ acre, with a vinyl pool went to contract in April. It was listed at $3.295. Does that mean parsonage land value=$3 mil./acre? |

This 4,000 sq. ft., 4 bed 2 bath traditional has a gunite pool with guest house, sits on 1.60 acres, has been on the market 6 months, and lists with Corcoran for $4.595 mil.
Farrell on Parsonage
My spies tell me that the Farrell Building Corp. has entered into the "Parsonage Lane former farmland sweepstakes" and will build a $10 mil. home somewhere near Town Line. I suspect it's somewhere within this map. Not sure how big. This farm is now officially growing houses.

this is a 2800 sq. ft. contemporary on 1.5 acres, with a gunite pool, beautiful landscaping and open farmfield vistas (at least for now). From the satellite photo above the left, it is the property on the top. the house below it is of similar, dramatic design, but you'd never know it was there (at least from the front). The house is very private, I drove up and tried to take pictures but couldn't really see anything but the front door without walking around and into the property. This can be all yours for $4.395 mil. Listing with Gary D. (new nickname) at Allan Schneider.
Conclusion: Parsonage Lane is a lot nicer than the street on which I live.
